According to some articles that i read:
It says that these dreamcatcher are one of the traditions of the Native Americans. The tradition is to put the dream catcher above the sleeping persons head. The dream catcher was intended to protect a sleeping individual from negative dreams, and let the positive dreams come through. The positive dreams would slip through the hole in the center of the dream catcher, and glide down the feathers into the sleeping person below. While, those negative dreams were trapped on the web and expire or vanished when the first sun rays struck into them.
According to me:
Dreams are the things we imagine, it is a product of our enjoying minds. It is a conclusion in our minds that will never happen in real life. These are succesion of images, ideas, emotions, scenes, and sensations that commonly occur involuntarily in our mind during the certain stages of sleeping. Somewhat somehow, dreams always start in a positive way, depending on the perception of the dreamer in life. However, some dreams become negative because of the scenes, and sensations that happens on our imagination. Like in real life, we always wake up happy or positive, but as the times pass by, stress came along because of the works, boss’, jobs, assignments, tasks and other things that make our minds get over used, in line with that, we tend to be unhappy or negative to ourselves.
Sometimes i wonder, if these beleifs on the dreamcathers are real or if they are effective. Because, like i said, every dream is positive but somewhat somehow it only turns negative due to our perceptions in life. Dont beleive in negatives and positives yet? What if i give you an example like: you always dream about your dreamgirl or dreamboy talking to you? Could you say that it is a negative dream? of course not. It is a positive dream, however it turns to be a negative dream due to the scenarios like: afterwards, you see your dreamboy/girl walking with someone inside your dreams. Now that’s the time you could say that it is a negative one. But the point is, it always start on the positives side, just control the outcome and be optimistic my friend.
Have a nice dream :)
NOTE: This Dream Catcher is a gift from my friend named Krystel Rivera she’s a frustrated “RAPPER” :D
